Just a quick update

Time for a new update. We are now in Houston. We have looked at houses and looked. There are tons of houses to look at in the Houston area. We finally settled on a house and have finally put a contract on one. We will be living in the Katy area. Jay and Danielle offered for us to stay till we move in, so that is great! We thank them so much!
Mike is working in Sugarland. He seems to be liking it really well. He is so glad to be back in the states working. He knows a few guys that work there who he has worked with before. He learns all kinds of new things every day. We went to Lafayette last weekend to take care of some business and visit with Jon, Shell, Chris and Preston. While there Michelle and Chris announced that we are going to be grandparents again. We are so happy for them. Of course, we are happy for us too. Preston has been such a joy we can't wait for another one.
Hope you enjoy the few pictures I added. These were from last weekend.
Well, I guess that is about all of the news for now. I'll try to keep in touch as we get more news.

The Latest!

This will be the last picture from Doha! These are bougainvilleas that grow so big it is unreal in Doha. They were just coming out when we left. This is on the outside of a compound wall. It grows from the other side and then crawls over. It is huge! We have a friend who lives in the compound.
I can say we don't miss the sand at all. Just a few friends. It is very nice to be back in the states. For those of you who haven't heard, we have been back in the states for about a month swaiting to see where we would be transfered to. We were told Sugarland, but were waiting till it
was totally official before we wanted to let everyone know. It is now official and Mike's first day at work in Sugarland is May 16th. We have been living in our house in Lafayette. It has been great being close to the kids. Jason and Danielle have made a few trips over since we have been back and we will be living the closest to them soon. It has been great seeing Preston as often as possible. In fact, as you can see by some of the pictures we have gotten to take him out on the town with us. G'pa and Preston thought they would see what it was like to stick their heads out out the sun roof of our car. Not great pictures, but I think they both liked it from what I see. As you can see we were safe. We were at Jason's Deli having supper.
Preston spent the night with us Friday night. It was his first time and he did great! Slept all night long. We had so much fun. We got up the next morning and went to eat at Ihop. He likes eating there. We left there and went to Academy shopping. Got him some water shoes and some sandals. He had fun pushing the huge ladder on wheels around with his G'pa. In fact, I think they were trying to run over me.
We left there and went to Khol's in search for some little outfit for Preston, but we didn't find anything we really liked so we headed home. It was getting close to nap time. He fell asleep on the way home, so he had his nap at our house. When he woke up it was way after lunch time so we fed him and then took him home. As you can see, Preston likes the phone. He has one pair of his new shoes on in the picture with the phone. Nothing special just a pair of shoes he can get dirty and just rinse off. Actually he likes the phone, calculators, cell phones and remote controls. Of course, he likes many other things too. He really likes Crazy, our cat, but she just hides and growls if he gets too close. I don't think she really cares too much for him so far.
It has been fun seeing the few friends we have seen while we are here in Lafayette. It has been great to get to go to church here too. We have also loved the convenience of running to one store and buying everything we need. The choice to go to other stores is ours now that we are back in the states.
Now for the next adventure in our lives. Moving once again and finding another house to live in. Mike having a new job with SLB. He is now in a different division from well services. He is really looking forward to it. Pray for us as we look for new houses and make all of the decisions we will be making in the next few weeks.
It will be so nice to be able to be with most family members in no more than 4 or 5 hours. Sure beats 2 days of travel. LOL! Jay and Danielle, we will be seeing you guys soon. Happy Early Mother's Day to all Mom's who read this!
I know many of you have been waiting to here whether CWOW got the loan for their new building. They found out Wednesday that they got it, so now they will really be working to get everything ready for the building team that will be coming soon.
