Chisler Reunion

Hello everyone! The Chislers has a family reunion a couple of weeks ago. We had a really great time. We did have a few problems. If you have read Michelle's blog you know what all happened. Michelle and Chris' truck ran out of coolant not an hour away from their house on the way to the reunion. They got some and were good to go. Next everyone got to the reunion and we had a nice evening. The next morning Mike's parents left, because Mike's Mom had a extremely severe gall bladder attack. Two days later she had surgery and had it removed, hence no pictures of them. Jay had a few
sore ribs from a fall on the skis. He is fine. Danielle lost her rings at the swimming area at the lake. Other than not getting to have the whole group there we did ok. We missed Mike's parents, Bethany, Jeff, Vanessa and Autsin.
The first picture was of Jon and Mike. It was a before picture of he and Mike shaving all facial hair off for Jon's 21st birthday. Jon has never seen Mike without any facial hair. He has at least always had a mustache.
This second picture is of Jay and Jon having a
good time tubing. They really enjoy tubing. We have tons of pictures, but these are just a select few. They really have to move around a lot on the tube to keep Chris from throwing them off. Next is a picture of Jay and Danielle tubing. Actually they were just fixing to start going. I was trying to take advantage of having this picture of them together. Not often we get one of those. I believe the thanks goes to Michelle on this one. I seriously believe all of the adult kids could stay on the water most of the day. Rachael said she was
still rocking in the boat on the second night we were there.
I bet no one can guess who this cutie is in the next picture. That is out happy little Clint! He seems to have a great time till he falls asleep most of the time. He was visiting with his Aunt Deborah in most of the pictures of him. This little guy is sitting up really well now. I believe he is now trying to crawl. Now while we were at the reunion, but shortly after.
This next picture is of Jon and Jay tubing
again. I hope they have at least half the amount of fun it looks like they are having. Thanks to Chris for bringing his boat and all of the water sports equipment with him.
Next we have Jon and Rachael on the tube. Rach does not like to swim in anything but a pool. She doesn't like not knowing what all is in the water. She can't see in it either. So she doesn't like the beach or the lake. Jon would love for her to learn to like it, but I am not sure she ever will. He never gives up though.
That is not a smile on her face. Of course, Jon
is laughing. I have to give her credit though she really tries and she has been known to get up on skis if someone gets in the water with her. She never complains about being there and not having a swimming pool to get in. Anyway, GO RACH!!!
Next picture is of Jon and Mike after shaving. Happy birthday Jon! Well, it was also his grandparents 59th anniversary. We did not get to do much of a celebration since they had to leave and she had to have surgery. I just talked to Nonna today and she says she is
great and feeling so much better.
We had a fruit pizza for Jon's birthday and a red earth cake for Nonna and Papa's anniversary. Their anniversary and Jon's birthday are on the same day.
We had other good eats too. We played games and had a really nice time. One game we played was "You might be a Redneck if..." and the other one was "Catch Phrase". They were both fun games.
We were only at the lake for 3 days and two nights. We stuffed as much as we could into
each day and tried to sleep as much as we could at night.
This next picture is of my sister-in -law, Deborah. She is so much fun. The kids all enjoy here. She used to be a PE teacher, so she is pretty good with kids for sure.

Next is Michelle with the wake board. Only
Chris tried to wake board, but his boat didn't have enough power to pull him up. He did try though.

Next is Michelle and Rach. Chillin' on the
boat.

Here is Jon,Preston and Rach sitting on the porch. There was a litter of baby kitties that came around while we were there. Preston loved watching them eat and he really wanted to hold them. They were really wild though. They sure liked weiners, milk, lasagna, eggs and sausage. LOL! They got a lot of stuff.

Preston sure did like being thrown in the air
and landing in the water. I think Jon got a good work out. They did this for quite a while. All Preston would say when he came up for after each throw was "Agin agin". He barely caught it breath before he would start saying again again. It was too funny. He does love the water.

Michelle and Mike. We were playing "Catch Phrase" at the time. We all laughed so hard. We don't exacly follow the rules. Some of us call out answers for the opposite team without even realizing it, but we have a good time and that is all that matters.

This is Steve, Mike's brother. He is giving clues or just got finished giving clues for the game. It was he and Deborah's first time to play. It takes a few minutes to get the clue giving figured out.

Here is a good picture of Chris. Interesting way to ski. He had been skiing for a while. I am going to say he was resting his arms, but it could have been he was showing off a little. He is good at skiing.

Well, we had a great time at Lake Claiborne. If you want to see all of the pictures I have a lot of them in a web album. Danielle still has some really good ones on her computer. They have been really busy since the reunion though. They closed on their house and are how proud homeowners. They stayed with us a couple of nights, becaue the a/c decided to die, but they are all set up now and are almost totall unpacked. I tried to get a picture or two of each of us. If I left someone out I am sorry. I think I managed to get everyone though. Even of Danielle. We so appreciate her taking pictures for us. We are all spoiled by her.
Hope you have all enjoyed the pictures!

Debbie and Mike
